Construction insolvency: understanding the essentials – webinar recording

News

The construction sector remains the most significant contributor to the insolvency numbers, and it’s not getting any better. A recording of our webinar is now available on our YouTube channel, which we hope equips you with the tools to not become another victim.

This webinar provides an overview of issues arising out of insolvency in the construction market, including:

  • The basics of insolvency
  • How standard form contracts (JCT / NEC) deal with insolvency
  • What to do if a counterparty is going into insolvency
  • Can an insolvent party still adjudicate?

Join Andrew Rush and Lucy Day as they also discuss some real life examples of how it works when a contractor or sub-contractor goes into insolvency.

While naturally we try and make sure what we say in our webinars is accurate, it shouldn’t be relied upon on its own, and it is no substitute for legal advice. If you have a query, please contact us and we’d be happy to discuss it with you.
