Connor McNicholl

I am an Associate Solicitor with experience across both contentious and non-contentious construction work, with a particular focus on contract drafting and advisory matters.

I have advised contractors, consultants and employers on a wide range of projects involving JCT, NEC and bespoke contracts, professional appointments, and cladding remediation works. I have also supported disputes relating to building safety legislation and defective works. I try and adopt a client-focused, thoughtful and commercial approach to both project work and dispute strategy.

I joined Archor in June 2025 following a planned career break, during which I cycled across Europe, oyster-farmed in Ireland, trekked to Machu Picchu, and travelled throughout Latin America and Japan – where I found my dispute resolution experience unexpectedly useful on a few occasions.

When not reviewing contracts, I can be found reading, cycling, or attempting to play golf. If you spot me struggling up a steep hill (or the odd mountain) on my trusty bike, I’m exactly where I want to be!
