Amelia Formoy

I joined Archor as a paralegal in September 2023, after studying Law at the University of Essex for three years. From April 2024 I commenced my training with the firm as a trainee solicitor. My role is extremely varied and differs day to day and in such a short time, I have been heavily involved in both contentious and non-contentious matters.

In relation to non-contentious work, I have experience in managing multiple development projects, drafting and negotiating appointments as well as drafting contract reviews based on standard forms such as the JCT form of contract.

On the contentious side, I have had experience in assisting with adjudications, enforcement proceedings, debt recovery as well as assisting fee earners with claims of both high and small value.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, spending time with friends and family, and teaching piano!
