We don’t just act for private sector organisations – a lot of our client base is either a public body or a wholly owned subsidiary of one. As such we know what issues impact the public sector and are able to advise on the procurement requirements which are likely to be a consideration when procuring public projects.

Our approach to project documentation sets us apart. We understand the political and regulatory pressures on all parties involved in a publicly funded development and maintenance projects, so act in a way which looks to find the best route into contract. Our advice is second to none as we are responsive beyond our clients’ expectations, and we look to build meaningful relationships with our clients and their professional teams.

We’re also used to handling disputes for public bodies. Our experience of adjudication, litigation, and other forms of dispute resolution is second to none. But again, we understand the particular concerns and issues that public authorities face when dealing with contentious work, and are able to tailor our approach accordingly.

Who do we work for?

Our experience in this sector is broad. Typical projects involve residential, infrastructure, and commercial and leisure. The construction cost of projects our team have advised on varies dramatically – anything from £100k to £200m+.

Bread and butter clients for us are central and local government bodies, education institutions and housing associations. We understand that each has their own priorities, so while we build on the experience we have, we always make sure we take time to get to know each client and its goals to deliver the best advice possible.
